Our persimmon trees grow on our fields of el Carmen, el Campillo de Julia and el Verger de Alicia.
Like everything we grow in our garden, these persimmons have matured in the sun and we have not received any pesticide treatment.
The insect that decreases the harvest of persimmons the most is the fruit fly that bites the fruit and makes it ripe after a short time. To control the fly population we hang traps in the trees.
The weeds that grow and compete with the trees in terms of water, are mechanically controlled with the brushcutters.
