Incorporating some greens in to your daily diet is key if you want to live a healthy life. Although they are not as appetizing as other type of food incorporating them in our juice is a great way to make sure we eat them.
Lettuce is a full of iron, antioxidants and a high number of vitamins such as vitamin E (important for the immune system), vitamin A (vision), vitamin C and vitamins B1, B2 and B3.
The main benefits that kiwi adds to this juice is a high content in vitamin C and fiber.
Yet, a bit of color and fun is always welcome in our recipes. Hence, strawberry is a low calorie fruit and carries vitamins A, C, K and E.
Orange is obviously our favorite fruit and we could not miss it in this drink either.
Hence, the ingredients are:
- 4 leaves of lettuce
- 5 medium sized strawberries
- 1 kiwi
- 2 medium sized oranges
In order to make the drink more liquid it is better to squeeze the oranges before cutting and peeling the other ingredients. When everything is ready add the orange juice and the other fruits to the blender and mix it until is has reached a reddish color.
